The opening of the game hints a lot about NMS… the ships, the space stations, the space traveling setting, even the drop pods look the same, and this about as similar as they get.
-You can’t fly your ship, just pick a solar system, and then planets/space stations from a menu, the ship will get you there and drop you off in a escape pod.
-The planets are not planets, they are just walled and closed areas, with platforms, switches to press, creatures to kill, and loot to get, it’s all pretty linear and completely different from the planets from NMS”
For what it’s worth, Jim, NMS is actually decent after all the updates they’ve put out. There’s a shell of multiplayer, and living on one planet is much easier now.
Still doesn’t excuse the botched launch, but just saying

Have you thought about making a follow-up video on No Man’s Sky? The game has improved a great deal and it was all done for free as well.
It still looks REALLY boring.

Better than NMS? The only thing better is the quest system…the rest seems equally boring to me! And NMS one year later, with all the updates, is a lot better than before…

Both of which are present in this game that otherwise seems much better than no mans turd.

Hej Jim! I know you dont like beating a dead horse, but it would be cool if you would do a review of the todays no mans sky. Dunno how much you have been following the developement of the game, but I think you would be really surprised with the current game 😀

Have you ever thought about revisiting NMS? The game is fairly decent now, if it wasn’t released like it is now it wouldn’t have suffered the backlash it had before.
