So, it turns out the infamous trailer for Life of Black Tiger, happily promoted by Sony for 11 months, uses a cover from an anime created by an independent musician!
No credit, no permission, and Sony’s silently kept it on their channel despite this being known for almost a year.
This story got lost in the sheer bemusement of Life of Black Tiger’s existence, but after I listed it in the latest Jimquisition, the story resurfaced.
I’m glad it is.

Terrible? Life of Black Tiger is simply a master piece, it has no faults, NONE! Quite frankly whoever they stole the music from should be honored and humbled
