Dunno about you, but I found that going back to Wolfenstein after the masterpiece that is Doom does kind of dull it’s luster

I see what you mean by more fragile, but at the same time the enemies seem more fragile too. I think they’re going for a bit more realistic combat?

I personally adored Wolfenstein: The New Order and The Old Blood, so if this is more of the same then I’m sold. I guess I’ll just have to get used to some slight technical differences.
Now I just want a game where you can stick the handle of a hatchet in people’s mouth
Watching this gameplay, the AI doesn’t seem too intelligent, there’s times where Jim is right in front of them and they don’t react. He gets one person from behind but the one in front of that person doesn’t respond, or they just kind of run into his weapons single file. Is there some mechanic that makes the enemies appear to be really dumb going on here?

well story wise BJ is dying from the last game, so it makes sense that he’s more frail, but other things in this game arent logical, so who knows
To be honest I prefer frail characters, perhaps it feels more realistic – which I suppose is part of why I like survival horror and classic stealth games. Not really into the power fantasy side of games tbh, which is why Doom doesn’t really do anything for me (much to the annoyance of seemingly every single person I speak to).
The blood splatter on those hazmat suits looks great though. A statement you can only really get away with when discussing video games, otherwise people tend to look at you funny, make excuses and leave.
That’s how the original wolfenstein 3d was jim -_- you’d have 100 health and some fuckwit milkman would pop out of nowhere in that shitty blue and red maze and blast you down to 12 health in one hit.

Well didn’t he get blown up by a grenade at the end of the last game? I imagine that would result in anyone feeling a little frail. As for the game, meh. I didn’t like the last game and the fight with Death Head just finished off any enthusiasm for it that I did have. I want this game to do well because it doesn’t have the usual industry bollocks, but I don’t think I’ll buy it.
Those alligators are “some very fine people” though. Kill em anyway.
At 2:30 ish Jim starts mentioning how the level design has seemingly taken away the option to do stealth on some levels and I definitely noticed this
