H3H3 don’t owe their audience anything. Their videos are like a beautiful gift from God, not something you’re entitled to receive on a regular basis just because you’re a fan.
Honestly i didn’t this that video game video was an ad. I was mad because, 1. Ethan kept on saying that he didn’t want to make h3h3 videos for some time and then they drop this video game video. 2. This video game is not special at all. It only has some meme names like vape nation. It was just like any other game. 3. Ethan started throwing his political opinions at us without all the facts. Their podcast is very funny but when they get political i don’t like it because Ethan doesn’t know how to do political commentary.
people aren’t only upset and mad over the video game ad. people are upset about you posting fake news and slandering groups and people, when you bash others who fact news. You don’t educate yourself enough.
To be honest I wasn’t really mad with you not posting; I’m used to that, and I enjoyed the podcasts to some extent. However in those same podcasts I found the attitude you both have sometimes too overbearing, but that doesn’t mean I hate you guys or find you any less good. But I can’t be blamed for just feeling ticked off and criticizing the actions of other people, even if I didn’t make them “internet public”. I still love you guys, and if I move on from your channel it’s not because I’ve lost my respect for you, it just means you are out of my interest and level of priority to watch. Again, it’s nothing personal, but it happens anyway, and you guys aren’t the first channel that’s happened to. Either way, for now, I’m gonna keep somewhat of a look on you guys because I’m still curious and fond of your channel, and to be honest it was stupid of me to unsubscribe, although, like I said it wasn’t necessarily because of the game thing, just an instinctual fear you were becoming too judgemental and bitter in your podcasts. I’m subscribing again, of course, but again, I’m more on neutral ground right now. Regardless, for you as people, all the best wishes! And also don’t force making videos, unless you’re absolutely sure it will help you overcome things. If not, use other venues. Either way, good luck!
H3’s channel is pretty much Boogie now. It’s a parasocial relationship where he gets a free pass to not be funny or make interesting content anymore but his fans still support him because he pulls the sympathy card and they have invested so many years into getting to know them on a more personal level. Nothing against either Youtubers but that’s not what I subscribed for.
I have depression. It sucks man. Sometimes I can’t get out of bed. Sometimes I randomly cry. No one sees that though. I keep it to myself. You’re not alone dude. Love your vids. If you change your shtick and do something else, that’s cool man. I’ll watch it. I enjoy seeing Ethan & Hila – no matter the context.
Wait…. Didnt you guys already make a video almost identical to this a while back? Other than bad stuff that happened it was pretty similar if I remember correctly.. and not to be a dick but other than the train wreck of a podcasts with Bill Burr you seemed in good enough spirits when cranking out podcast after podcasts… Only seems like you made this video bc of the backlash you got from making a promotional video for your new game… This video seems more like damage control rather than an “Update”…
