This game is not as sexy as it claims to be.
I realize I’ll catch shit from the usual commenters who rush to defend any game I criticize (or just lightly mock) for being exploitative BS, but surely even they can have a modicum of dignity and see how cynical this crap is.

A boring central conceit, ambushing and unresponsive QTEs, pitch dark environments, and enemies that insta-kill you behind doors without warning. This is the kind of bad that almost impresses with its horribleness.
I don’t know what’s more shocking – that it got on Steam fuss-free, or that it’s actually surprisingly competent!

This is far from the worst game we’ve looked at in the series, but it’s certainly led to the one of the most bemused, surprised, and ultimately funny BoSGT features ever.
