House of Ashes is the third installment of The Dark Pictures Anthology series. It is an interactive horror game under development by Supermassive Games and will be published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for a multi-platform release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and, for the first time, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on October 22, 2021.

Iraq, 2003. As the conflict draws to a close, CIA field operative Rachel King joins an elite military unit on a raid of a suspected underground chemical weapons facility in the shadow of the Zagros Mountains.

Arriving at the coordinates, the unit is ambushed by a local patrol led by Sergeant Salim Othman. During the battle, an earthquake opens sinkholes in the ground, pitching both sides into the ruins of a buried Sumerian temple. In the darkness beneath the Arabian Desert, something evil is awakened. Savage and unstoppable, a nest of ancient and unearthly creatures has a new prey to hunt.

Horrific discoveries and impossible decisions face the survivors as they strive to navigate the underworld and escape the terrifying threat. Will they each prioritize their own survival, or put aside their fears and their personal rivalries to fight together as one?

House of Ashes follows five main protagonists, who fall underground during an unexpected earthquake and end up in an ancient Sumerian temple. The playable characters are three American military personnel, one American CIA agent and one Iraqi soldier.

  5. Can anyone enlighten me on salim quote to jason a bit more?

  6. You fucked up when you decided to bring Clarice along for so long and when you chose the crucifix over your gun.

  7. The very first premonition you saw was telling you to jump in the well and abandon the guy you were with. If you had done that, the zombie guy you held a crucifix to probably wouldn’t have been there because he would have survived!!!!

Brad made some bullshit decisions all to preserve any ounce of life even if said life was already lost but all he saw was life in nothingness. Being optimistic or a simpleton in a situation were it calls for you to act in the moment for the betterment of your group and mankind but you can’t even make the obvious call, then you have no business playing this game. It’s all about making choice decisions and making sure those who can fight and live do so and those who can not or are infected must die. Simple as that. Survival of the fittest in the literal sense. Man up make the tough calls or let every one you love and care for die. The choice is yours.

  9. hiding the gun in front of a beast is a good decision?

  10. Albert kamau Kamau

I would also have chosen the crucifix cause i thought maybe Nick would pull out a big cross with a sharpened edge.

  11. Alright, shit has officially hit the fan

  12. Doesn’t Eric look an awful lot like Petyr from The Hunger Games or is it just me?

  13. Jason has been acting like an asshole

  14. I like to say hi I’m a big fan but it reminds me of the movie call the cave

  15. That’s what you get for playing nice. Everybody dies.
