Focus Home Interactive is publishing all kinds of mid-tier stuff, and it’s pretty awesome. Greedfall is a Spiders-developed game, and if you’ve played any of their prior work, you know what that means.
A solid, if undercooked, action-RPG that tries to dabble in some intriguing themes, Greedfall could use more action and a more creative setting, but it’s fine enough. A bit of poison on my blade, and let’s GO!
I think the game’s great. Hope it gets a sequel that can iron out the issues like ME2 was to ME1
GreedFall sounds like the name of a hypothetical future documentary about the fall of the AAA video game industry.
It feels good to see Spiders is still getting work. Though, now that I’ve said that, all I can picture is an entire dev team made up of spiders making a game.

Now that BioWare is gone it’s nice to see studios like this stepping in to fill that void.

greedfall is exactly what i’ve been waiting for. i’ve been physically aching for a bog-standard western rpg ala dragon age origins. it’s even as clunky as DA:O! yes, you definitely feel the budgetary constraints but there isn’t anything else to fill that rpg-shaped void in my heart right now so i’ll gladly take greedfall. i don’t need spectacular, i just need rpg.
