Borderlands 3 has faced tumultuous PR on the road to its launch, but now the game is out, we can completely divorce it from any context that may involve its developer and publisher.
So, let’s have a totally uncolored chat about Borderlands 3, which is a Borderlands game, and see if this Borderlands game is more Borderlands than other Borderlands games!
Well, nice to hear someone not licking the boots of 2k and telling us how awesome it all is.
Never have I seen a review where the reviewer held the higher-ups who made it in such scathing, red-eyed contempt.

Jim managed to smoothly go through every single 1 of Picthfords transgressions in a game review whilst at the same time making it fit haha. Love it.
There is only one word I can think of to describe this video – masterful.

I think it necessary to note for posterity that this is actually one of the most downright generous reviews of Borderlands 3.
This video feels like it was just an excuse to make a 10 minute rant about Gearbox/Randy Pitchford, and I can appreciate that
you know. i have to say i agree with pretty much everything u said, granted uve been stating most of whats in and about the game for like half a year now, and i havnt played the game. im surprised how easy you went on it. u said it really well, may reviewers and critics across the realm be inspired by your altruism.
edit: i dont think u mentioned anything bout it supposedly being a broken game on launch, i know not surprising by AAA standards, or how the anti piracy software tanks upload speed, or how they shit the bed on the review copies. then again this vid cant be an hour long i understand that
Randy really does just attract controversy. It’s like he wants it and revels in it.

Just letting you know, split screen for consoles is almost unanimously unplayable for everybody who tried to play it with their friends. Something gearbox should’ve tested for and made sure was performing well for launch. They let something so important and signiature slip through the radar like it was some minor mechanic.
