Fun fact: the ‘hire fans’ art at 4:50 was (I believe) originally posted by a tumblr user specifically as a parody of ppl complaining that Aloy doesn’t look like a ‘real woman’. They were swiftly informed that, unfortunately, their mocking edit had already been adopted and reposted by folks saying exactly what OP was predicting they’d say. Satire is dead.

The facial hair thing is so laughable. Even the women in the FF7 Remake have facial hair. And I guess nobody would argue that they look ugly or not feminine because they have a “beard”.xD
It’s just a typical case of if you search for something to be mad about, you find it.
Played Horizon 2 all weekend, and still can’t get over how gorgeous the character models are, Aloy in particular. Every time I see her face in a cutscene, I notice a new cool detail (even while playing on OG PS4), like wind-chafed cheeks or subsurface scattering on her nose and ears. For all the whining over out-of-context screenshots we had prior to the game’s release, I think her new model is a hell lot more natural looking than the one in HZD. Uncanny Valley was strong with that one.
When you’re sold unreasonable standards of beauty through celebrity, and impossibilies in videogames, it warps your expectations to the point where realism is no longer good enough.
This is actually funny, the fact that people who want the most realistic graphics are crying because graphics are realistic now.
The original image of the edited aloy wasn’t actually made by the snowflake gamer. It was a joke image from PlayStation subreddit where a user posted it with the title, “I made Aloy less political!”. Seems like the joke worked too well lol.
Damn whoever calls that a beard probably was never anywhere near testosterone.

Is still absolutely baffles me that there were and still are people who genuinely find that edit of Aloy more appealing than her actual design.
Ironically the men saying that she looks too masculine are probably the same ones who whine over REAL LIFE WOMEN wearing makeup and not looking “natural” enough.
