Beyond Skyrim is a collection of modding teams attempting the impossible: to recreate nearly every single province in Tamriel. Here is their story.

  1. Hey everyone, a lot of TLC went into this video so I hope you enjoy it.

If this project sounds like something you’d want to be apart of head over to their website at BeyondSkyrim dot org. The Beyond Skyrim teams are making some truly impressive mods.

  2. Idc if it takes another decade or more, I’ll be on pins and needles to start a new skyrim file and play through every quest in every province, every dungeon, every town, every city. I have been saving up money to build a gaming pc piece by piece for just that day and it will be awesome whether I am still in my thirties or well into my seventies.

  3. Damn. People make such a huge content for free while companies like EA and Square Enix split games into halves filled with microtransactions.

I must thank and congratulate the modding teams for their great achievments and endeavours.

  4. Oh god, even MORE YEARS to spend on Skyrim… well, it was nice knowing everyone.

  5. Vr+beyond skyrim=my life is over

  6. Meanwhile it feels like Bethesda is only working hard to try for the ” Most lazy company ”and ”We don’t care about our fans ” awards.

  7. Maaaan too bad the switch like can’t support crap like this. I’d love to mob around with this stuff on the go.

  8. The lead skater in Alduin on ice

A bit unfortunate that our team (Iliac Bay) wasn’t consulted, considering our history and team size. A great video regardless, good job Jacob/Gamespot!

  9. I seriously doubt that a mod of this scale will ever be completed, or be as detailed as the base game. A BGS team of 100 people spent years just creating Skyrim, and for a group of modders to try and fully flesh out the rest of the ES game world? It’s not realistic to think they can do it. But I love the passion, and hope the same passion carries over to the next game.

  10. You gotta wonder: If they’re including all the regions and still be culturally correct. Will they include races outside of Skyrim. Such as the Sload, Imga, or Lilmothiit?

  11. Modders are going to create Elder Scrolls 6 before Bethesda can. It’s a shame that we have waited seven years and there still isn’t a new Elder Scrolls.

Meanwhile, Bethesda is porting Skyrim to a Calculator

  13. All of tamriel in a single game…..I can’t even imagine it no matter hard I try. Seems unreal, but if it were done, it would be the greatest thing ever done in gaming.

  14. Yooo I downloaded this mod two months ago and seriously, I recommend it to everyone, it is an actually amazing project and the modders put SO much work into this, I swear it’s like a whole new world, literally and figuratively.

  15. Well it can be done … but not on Xbox one because you only have 5 GB 🙁

  16. Felix the Not-Very-Magnificent

as long as its quality work i can be patient.

i can only guess that something of this caliber would be made for the special edition? the limitations of 32-bit will not handle something like this without crashing regularly.

  17. So stoked on this project!

  18. Does this officially mean Skyrim has had the greatest impact of any video game on gamers in the past decade?

Or perhaps possibly one of the greatest impacts of all time?

  19. Being an ‘oldster’ (I’m 62), I fell in love with Skyrim immediately and am happily encouraged by the amount of support extensive mods like this are getting. In my mind, and my heart, there will never be another Skyrim. The interpersonal relationships, the interaction, the adventure, the excitement, the warfare, the conflict, the time period, the restrictions, the freedoms, the art that is and that makes it Skyrim, are all unique and unmistakable. I doubt there will ever be a game capable of replacing it. My heartfelt “Thank You” to any and all who had and have anything to do with the creation and continued creation of what is Skyrim.
