Poppy Playtime Lore is BROKEN! #shorts

Loyal Theorists, Poppy Playtime has made a fatal mistake in its lore, and I think I found it! In searching through Project Playtime we find something that proves that the timeline of this game is all out of wack! Maybe this is something they’ll clear up with the release of Chapter 3! But for now… we’ve got a BROKEN Lore!

  1. What if they had some hobos living in the factory at some point that could have brought the book.

  2. Shadow The Demonic Wolf

See Matthew, you are too focused on the mid 90s to see it would have closed further than the early 2000s or the book was left by some college students doing some spooky urban exploration

  3. or someone read and left it after it was abandoned

  4. Something Something

Maybe this universe has the book realised before 2000 just saying lol

  5. maybe they closed but still kept working for a couple of months/years after working on somthing

  6. Tinkle Me 4 [S]E.X

You can always trust Matpat to make sure the lore actually makes sense

  7. Does anybody know what brand that jacket is from?

  8. matpat please we need your help with PPT arg we are stuck

  9. Maybe it doesn’t break the lore. Here’s what I mean:

Back on one of RyeToast’s theory videos, I commented on how there may be a possibility that the Doctor returned to the factory himself at some point. And we know that the main game takes place this century. We also find a tape specifically recorded by him.

What if just before or even during the events of “Project Playtime” is when the Doctor decides to come back to the factory? He would’ve then been the one to leave that book there. This also implies too that he may have been possibly scouting out the place to see if he could continue his Bigger Bodies Initiative. And he must’ve found what he was looking for since “Project Playtime” does happen.

    So here’s the timeline:
    1. The factory closes in the 90’s.
    2. The Doctor (or somebody) returns in the early 2000’s to see if there’s anything of value left he can use, but accidentally leaves some things behind once seeing the monster toys are still very much alive and kicking.
    3. “Project Playtime” happens, where special teams are sent in to retrieve said leftover valuable resources. (Hard to say yet if this ended in success or failure for them.)
    4. Sometime later, “Poppy Playtime” happens, which is present day.

Therefore, the timeline is hence not broken. ^^

  10. Maybe they closed in the LATE 2000’s?? Maybe they were like it didn’t close in the early 2000 but the late 2000???

  11. Me: yes poppy playtime lore yes yes

My brain: where the hell do I get that jacket

  12. Mat, they had .mp4 VHS tapes in the 1980’s and now you’re going to intrust the who lore to a BOOK!?

  13. Avatar the legend of lucas

or they didnt lie and it closed in the late 2000’s ?

  14. Someone that work in playtime co must be from the future that bring the book and telling the experiment failed but never got a chance to stop it probably 🤣

  15. The gamer grookey

    Heres a idea
The spinoff is just a spinoff and not connected to the original timeline.

    There

  16. it closed in the 2010’s then

  17. There’s also a train sign in project:playtime with a 2023 date. Clearly either the something is still happening in the factory despite it being closed, or there’s just missed assets.

  18. It’s a spin off bro you’re getting stressed over numbers

  19. Check the ball pit maby youll find the answer

  20. BlueShine Studios
