Everyone says this is a puppet-styled dark souls. But it’s totally Sekiro with bloodborne’s rallying mechanic. The game is built around parrying attacks and using a fancy tool arm. If anyone remembers Owl, don’t be surprised if Gepetto ends up being a boss.

This game is so absolutely unfair, so overwhelming in difficulty, it’s not worth it. First I’ll list the other flaws.
PROBLEM #1: When you die, you’re sent ALLLLLL the way back to the F****** BEGINNING! What kind of a F****** MORON thought this would be fun? Thought this was necessary? The frustration level is SOOOOO high with this, that I was having NO fun at all, which is opposite of what games are suppose to be. I was feeling so much anger, so much rage, so much nervous frustration that I had chest pains and had to quit, for health reasons. This is not good, this is DANGEROUS!
PROBLEM #2. Instead of having a sword that always good, you have to continually sharpen it with a grinder that’s on your arm. All this adds is frustration, NOTHING else. Absolutely NO ONE benefits from this. It’s a stupid ass mechanic that serves no purpose other than to piss off the player. And if you don’t sharpen, your weapon breaks. Gee, wonder who they copied this from…Zelda?
MAIN PROBLEM AND GAME BREAKER: The difficulty is over the top, ridiculous, stupid, uncalled for and not necessary. So what? So now the Souls loving crowd are calling the shots for all gamers? We get no say so? Devs are gonna cater to this crowd now in all action games? And alianate millions of gamers that don’t possess the kind of world class skills required? Not to mention the ‘super-human’ patients, nerves and tolerance it takes.
I was actually having fun in this demo, even with the first 2 issues I mentioned. UNTIL…I got to the big dude pounding on the floor. Tried defeating him since 6am this morning, it’s now after 10am…I’m done, I give up, that’s enough for me. Deleted the demo! If I have to spend 100hrs on each enemy, it’s not worth it. I don’t need a game lasting thousands of hours due to difficulty alone. And I REEEAAALLLY got tired of doing that entire LONG section all over from the start…again and again and again and again and again and again!
