Why do wandering traders disappear after I buy their stock, then reappear in the EXACT same position they were before, I know they didn’t wander off because first, they were stuck and disappeared AND came back, second I’m in creative and I would’ve seen they walk away

Theory: Illagers and Villagers were all descendants of the original Minecraft builders that got banished to the End. The Illagers were banished from the Villages because they wanted to keep practicing the dark arts the original builders had used.
