There are so many secrets buried in Boneworks as it relates to Stress Level Zero’s other games, especially Duck Season. There was still one thing left, after our last episodes, that I REALLY wanted to talk to you about. That is the connection between Arthur Ford, our Boneworks protagonists, and David, the protagonist of Duck Season. You see there is evidence that they are, in fact, one and the same. The SAME PERSON at different points in his life, circling back to where it all began and closing the loop. How did I come to this conclusion, Theorists? Let’s get started.

  1. Mini theory: *is longer than normal theory*
Everyone: this is not the law of equivalent exchange

  2. So, you’re saying David’s on the run because he’d be accused of killing his mother because…he killed his mother.

  3. Donaville gerogalin

    -NO-
    *YES*

  4. @Ssn Kren who asked, wtf?

  5. Still never cared genuinely about cancer. You did it for a tax write-off

  6. Next episode: “DAVID WAS HIS OWN MOM???”

  7. This whole theory is basically the terminator trilogy matpat

    • Me too I did to

    • @KILLER DIAMOND my woosh senses are tingling

    • @Ethan Andrews Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He’s well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

  8. Sooo if the dog stabbed the kid that would be the GOOD ending since the cycle would be broken right? Oh Man
*Purple Guy was right all along*

  9. Anomolous Tesseract

“But why? Why would he do that?”

Well, you see, I’m watching your video to find out

  10. My hair was really dark when I was a baby, then almost glow-in-the-dark-blond when I was a kid, and now it’s a darkish brown. Always wondered why that happens.

  11. regular and normal game: exists

Game Theory: WRITE THAT DOWN, WRITE THAT DOWN!!!

  12. Wait so if David was the dog, then what was the point in killing all the other kids before David? And why was the ritual password thing baddadbadkid?

    • for killing the other kids I can only assume that they might have been the future executives who started messing with the void

    • Ravenous Ghoul that could also be true

    • Do we know that the dog killed those families and not the other Cryptids that were released?

    • dragonsreingsupreme1

The killing of the kids could be for continuities sake for daviddog. He remembers 12 kids being killed in the lead up so he kills the 12 kids to not change the lead up to the access to his younger self. The void may not exist in time and space but they do still exist to need to close contradictions in the timeline. Or we can occams razor it and just say daviddog made a mistake and was killing families that he did not need to. But personally I think the first is more likely.

TLDR: Kids killed by daviddog for timeline reasons

    • MatPat:
      *Yes.*

  13. Matpat: here’s a mini theory
Everyone: do you mean diet theory and it’s longer than most your other theories
Me: all future videos will be 18-20min long

  14. Matpat: “If I’m being honest, this is less a theory and more *describes a theory*”

  15. *”Mini Theory”
    *Is longer than last episode

  16. When you cast this to a tv, the title reads only “A Boy and His D”

  17. K64A my bad, through further research I have found that in actuality , theories actually attempt to explain why things happen, and law states that it does, it still fits but I was wrong about the theories

  18. KnowledgeSource lol

  19. CT Shiner I just wanted to show a bit of appreciation

  20. So it could be arthur

  22. @TheLuckystar 10 you are the one talking about a hierarchy. I said a law is usually contained within a Theory. It seems like you want to believe that a Theory requires Laws to show that it is true. Your sentence was an extremely long run-on sentence using commas to attempt to string a thought together. It is very difficult to follow and is bad grammar. No one is being hostile, I am telling you that it is objectively an awful incoherent sentence. You also seem to be committing lots of double think to try and make your original statement accurate. That type of thinking is usually only associated with religions that teach evolution “as only a theory.” I guess English isn’t your first language so there isn’t really a way to effectively communicate with you through comments though.

  23. @Thomas Renko now that is an interesting theory. And not unlikely either. It may very well go that way.

Maybe it will go multiple ways, leave us wondering what the message was. It could be up to us to decide what we personally believe happened. Which is what the story of peer Gynt did.

Also, another throw in thought could be looking deeper at the music of “Hall of the mountain king”, whos original title is ” dovregubbens hall”. Dovregubben is the king of troll, thus the title ‘mountain king’, who rules over the beings of the underworld (not death. This is Norwegian/Scandinavian folklore). In the story, Peer Gynt is asked by Dovregubben if he wishes to stay in his great hall(tbh it’s more like a cave but ok dude). Peer says no but its an important moment in the story. Perhaps our player character will get some kind of simular choice?
