“What do the jedi fear?”
Answer: “oversaturation of the star wars franchise”
It’s only over saturation when Disney does it. Not the abomination made by thousands of legends material huh?
@failtolawl But legends was always kinda a niche. It was never forefront.
@failtolawl Theyve put out 5 movies in 5 years dumbass. And only 1 of the 5 was good. Disney only cares about the money now… not good story telling. The sequels are a prime example of that.
@failtolawl Legends had lot of bad stuff but also good stuff. Seuqel trilogy was two decent movies who mainly remake of OT and one terrible movie who remakes RoTJ again and s*its on everything in saga and retcons previous movie and shows its creative bankrupcy by bringin Palpatine back. Villains are probably biggest difference between sequels and EU. EU had greatest villains in all of saga (Thrawn, Revan) while disney villains were complete garbage
Obi Wan: Did you say ‘High’ Republic?
Anikin: *PROFUSE SWEATING INTENSIFIES*
Anakin.
Hello there
@Nostalgic Otaku General Kenobi

Yeah…. The republic sure is high on something here alright.
High on corporate diversity.
The Jedi Knights of the round table
Mordred: I’m about to end this orders whole career
Taking inspiration from Arthurian legend’s now got me hooked.
@Ohaxer Clarent Blood… ARTHUR!!!!
“I have a bad feeling about this.”
-A man murder by his son
“I’ve got a bad feeling about this” – Atton (Circa the Old Republic)
@The_Lost_Son Your comment is underrated.
Star wars: the high republic
Starring dwayne “the rock” johnson
Not Snoop Dogg?
@EvanAviator it is all media
No.
As a droid
1:24 To whoever wrote “Dinosaurs!”, you’re in the wrong franchise.
@Dark_Prince “Diversity” is probably referring to the fact that the franchise is filled to the brim with white humans, mostly men, who are narratively the focal point of the stories told.
@Makai Ridah Alien… no dinosaurs
@Thunderstruck mythosaurs=alien
@Illidan Stormrage alien.*based on a dinosaur*
Star Wars: The High Republic…with Munchies
The Hight Republic Episode II – Cotton Mouth
Staring: Seth Rogen and Snoop Dogg
The High Republic, when deathsticks were selling on every street.

_The high republic_
I already see a dozen weed smoking memes incoming …. just sayin …
yes, the HIGH republic was the first thing that came to mind when i read it.
Lol
No one:
Star wars: space vikings
Disney: how about space dogs!
Can they fly now?
Me: how about Darth Bane
@Anhelito Diez They fly now!
@bemotivated no they would destroy him
Disney: also! Where can we add our Mickey Mouse!
I wish someone had the balls to wear an Star Trek shirt in the writing room. Lmao
Oh, thought this was a new movie series. Had my entire: “Have ever heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise” rant ready and everything.
Lol, do you think they spent $4 billion on it to not use the franchise? What kind of logic is that?
If Dave Filoni or George Lucas aren’t involved this one is gonna flop just like the Star Wars Sequel
This is a book series
Juan does not understand what was meant by flop. The Star Wars franchise was damaged by the last trilogy amongst many fans. Which in turn left hundreds of millions of dollars off the table for Disney. Yes, many loved it. Far too many who always loved it felt betrayed and are now disinterested in it going forward.
@Andy Andreson well said
@Juan Carlos Rivera It didn’t make “millions and millions” more.
@Juan Carlos Rivera You do realise that money what originals and prequels made then would be completely different numbers now right?
@Popo Bawa No, “Muy big is da Force” -JJB
And its sorta spelled wrong or at least was at first. If you look at it you can where they went back and overwrote a reversed “a” with a “u”. Room full of writers misspelled “Dinosaurs!”. Maybe they mean Krayt Dragons? Basiliks? Hope so.
Disney is no longer fully control of star wars anymore. Lucasfirms have full rights but Disney has little control.
@Blaise Rondeau Star Wars has never been pro-war.
How about representation and diversity
Dinosaurs were in the Bane trilogy
It will be “The Deep Republic”
Disney: “lets try to please everyone”
fans: “the sequels are trash”
Disney *Comes up with high republic*: “theres something for everybody to like”
fans: *brace for impact*
