I would say that if Nintendo wants people to make a good argument for the Lite, they should drop the price a little lower, around $150-$180. Doing so would make them seem more equally valued for their individual prices.
@Zachary Norton Xenoblade chronicles and a few others were exclusive to New 3DS. The new 3ds added a 2nd, smaller control stick as well as 2 more shoulder buttons
@Zachary Norton proved u don’t owned 3ds old or a new 3ds, Wii and Wii u r console not handheld. Can’t be compare to the switch, if I remember correctly even Wii got a refresh some time later in its life time. Wii u is not successful enough for Nintendo to bother with the idea. All handheld from nintendo DS onward received multiple upgrade in model and hardware. So switch pro is imminent, might not be named pro but will be coming

I think they cant really cut costs any further. It still has to run the same chipset and that’s by far the most expensive component of the switch
All this is is an attempt to prevent homebrewing switches and they are trying to hide it under the whole better battery life promise.
I feel that the switch lite is for like children but no one is talking about how it’s cheaper and more affordable to less fortunate gamers.

Switch lite is 200, regular switch is 270, really worth the extra 70 imo

Happy that I didn’t buy the Original Switch back [then].
I remember I wanted, by my friend (who bought) was like “Nah, don’t. The battery is horrible and they probably gonna do a Re-Make in next year.”
May the Magic of Hyrule bless my friend, for this advice saved me a lot of money.
The only difference is battery and who actually takes there switch out the doc for a full 4 hours with out charging

There will be slight hardware changes like new 3DS and 3DS, but, like before, most games will runs good with old Switch rather in **new** Nintendo Switch

@KstewLover1 Probably the more you use your sticks on the joy-cons the higher the chance they will drift in the future. Probably only people with hundred of playhours have especially joy-con problems. I played 3 mario games on switch each 40 – 70 hours, BOTW 180 hours+ Gears Club Unlimited 20 hours+ trials rising 20hours+ etc.
