You know what sucks the most about all of this? Good fans of Nintendo (the kind of fans that are actually not afraid to criticise some flaws the company has, but still happily enjoy most of their products) like myself are once again caught in the middle of these toxic debates. Debates where we feel trapped because the idea that there is “no middle ground” is shoved down our throats by both extremes. Its so incredibly draining…
I don’t want to support Nintendo’s policy of copyright protection, but I want to continue looking forward to and enjoying their future products without resorting to acting like a jaded and cynical asshole.
I have sinned in the past. But Steam, yes Steam, made me a honest non Pirate with over 380 games in my library. Steam gave me many many good reasons to start using their platform. Nintendo, EA, Sony, Microsoft and Ubisoft have proven over and over that their platform is an everchanging pile of poop. although Origin and Uplay have become less poop in the last year, the fact yoy still have to pay for online play on SonyPS and MicroX is appalling! And Nintendo with its 1 nes snes rom a month premium thingy is the poopiest of all!

now go forth and parody noncommercially, build a fanbase off fandoms to attract crowds to you, and later, your original ideas.
its harder to be original over copying, but it is literally and figuratively more worth it.

This is sad Jim, truly sad. Your mind set of receiving disrespect means that you now have the privilege of being disrespectful back is at best childish. Seriously Jim, grow up. Its great that you can point out that Nintendo is ‘worse’ than you but that just puts you in very very low standing along side them.
There are much more effective ways to create meaningful discussion than this and you know it. Please take some time to think about what you’ve done and try to learn from this mistake.
This is definitely one of your worst Jimquisitions in a hell of a long time. Openly condoning piracy is a bad look, and establishing that your moral code is flexible to the point of being useless surely isn’t going to make you look better to… anybody, really, outside of overexcited preteens.
