5:10 When you backtracked into the area where you dealt with the infected, Joel walked right into the cloud of spores, but did not don his mask. Must not be a trigger for that action in this area. Guess ND did not anticipate anyone trying that.

i wouldn’t want to live in zombie island, you clear out an area, go back to base, go back to that area, you have as many zombies as before, every trip is a nightmare with very, very few breaks, weapons wear out really quickly, and (nearly) everytime i went to the native village i’d get stuck there, cos if you kill zombies but then die, you spawn with the original number of zombies, but the weapons you used are gone, you end up with fists and can never escape. a great little game spoiled by “too much realism”
