As someone who has just started playing FN less than a year ago.. I think a skin like Midas, that has transcended just being a battle pass skin, and is iconic to the game, yes it should be available in the item shop, albeit very rarely. However, many other skins should not be, like the Black Knight or Tsuki 2.0. If you weren’t around and/or loyal to the game at that time, too bad, those are a reward for the players that were. There’s plenty of other skins.
Just like the npc with old guns in chapter 4 season 1 the lil whip npc dropped the ranger assault rifle.
If the battle pass skins were in the item shop and have all the customization unlocked that basically gets rid of everybody who grinder to get a the fully golden Agent Peely

Here’s my hot take on bringing battle pass skins to the item shop:
Personally I agree for 2 reasons.
1. it allows OG players to get the skins & items of said skins in case they missed out,
and that includes collab skins & even bonus rewards & even secret skin stuff too.
2. even us players in today’s Fortnite era have the chance to score the OG stuff.
also, I wish you Ali-A, your back bling emblem were also in the shop plus also
had your own banner icon.
