In RAGE 2, you’ll dive headfirst into a dystopian world devoid of society, law, and order. You can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything. The game brings together two studio powerhouses – Avalanche Studios, masters of open world mayhem and id Software, gods of the first-person shooter – to deliver a carnival of carnage.
Humanity’s numbers are dwindling. Ruthless and bloodthirsty gangs roam the open roads and the tyrannical Authority seek to rule who remains with an iron fist. You are Walker, the last Ranger of the wasteland. Robbed of your home and left for dead, you’ll tear across an unforgiving wasteland battling bloodthirsty gangs to find the tools and tech needed to take the fight to The Authority and crush their oppressive rule once and for all!

Brilliant, the first Rage is one of my favourite games I’ve ever played, always been hoping for another, but never expected it. So hyped, looking forward to it thank you.
It’s like someone threw Borderlands, Mad Max, and Doom in a blender and seasoned with some Destiny-esque Sci-Fi. Hopefully the resulting pulp can be filtered of the issues and we’re left with a sweet syrup of a game!

Looks good on the trailer, i really hope the neon blue and pink and green colors really overwhelm the wastlands greyish yellow

I’m not a huge FPS fan, but damn if this doesn’t look like fun.
This looks so fucking cool. Like the first Rage was decent but this looks like DOOM 4 levels of awesome.

iD and Avalanche NO FREAKING WAY! NOW THIS IS WHAT RAGE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE!
Okay, I was worried that Rage 2 would be more of the same as the original, but the fact that AVALANCHE STUDIOS is working on it gives me hope. After all, they know how to do kinetic crazy gunplay and explosions (Just Cause series, especially 3). Plus given that they did Mad Max a few years ago shows there will be a VAST improvement in the car combat portion of the game (something we can all agree was lackluster in Rage).
Holy shit. Awesome! I’m surprised they’re making a sequel since the first game got middling reviews. Looking forward to this one.
