Perhaps the best Spider-Man game yet made, Marvel’s Spider-Man feels terrific to play and has a near-flawless combat system. Just a shame about the open world busywork tasks and lack of villains.
Still, Insomniac made a bloody fine game!
I’ve played a ton of good Spider-Man games like Spider-Man 2, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. If this game is indeed better than all of them as you say, than I am going to have so much fun in three days.

The wave of nostalgia from hearing the animated spider-man music again. I didn’t know I needed it but now I need to go listen to it on repeat for a while.
Hopefully, Marvel will let Platinum Games develop a rated-M Ghost rider game starring Danny Ketch after this.

Wait, Jim actually got a review copy?! I thought all the game publisher’s blacklisted him a long time ago.
Though this is labeled as a Jimpressions video, it has the length, depth, quality, and flavor of his old reviews. And that alone gives you a taste of how much Jim likes this game, since he stopped doing reviews for a reason.
