Thanks for talking about this, Mark. I’m glad you seem to be okay overall despite getting tired out by work. But what you said, all of what you said, really reaches out to me. You’ve given the words that I don’t think I would have found myself regarding creative work. As an artist myself, I love what I do and I hate to admit it, but yes, I get really tired and sometimes even burnt out by my own creative hobbies. I hate to admit that about something I love because “why love something that makes you end up unhappy at some point?” But in the end, I still find myself doing it because I love doing it and if I love doing it, I’m going to keep doing it. I try new things, I fail at those new things, I try again, I fail at other things, but at the same time, *something* goes just the way I want, or better even. That keeps me going.
This is what I understand that you are going through and if you also love working on Iron Lung, if you’re ready to throw yourself into the next upcoming tasks even if it means less time to be with your friends and with us for just some amount of time more, then I don’t judge since…like I said, you just gave the words to describe what I don’t like admitting to myself and honestly thanks for that, Mark. Best of luck to you on your work!

Videos like this are always my favorite. Hearing someone talk about how passionate they are about what they do and how it’s okay to push hard for the things that matter. It’s one of the most inspiring things in the world for me to keep pushing on the things I care about and want to accomplish. Thank you, Markiplier for always putting your heart and soul into your work. The things you create are amazing and even more than that, they inspire people to create even more and I think that’s a beautiful thing
