With the Minecraft 1.19 update going up, I thought it was time to return to the mystery that is the sculk, the mysterious discs, and how they BOTH connect to the Warden. Today, we are focusing our eyes and ears on Disc 5. We are going way, WAY back in the history of Minecraft for this one, Theorists! Hold on to your diamond sword!

This lines up almost exactly with my interpretation of the disc. I didn’t make the connection with the wither, but it does explain some things I couldn’t.
As for the bit with the music, it sounds like some kind of lullaby to put a stirring monster back to sleep. I don’t know how to fit that in, but that’s what it sounds like.
But most importantly, I agree that the warden is created by skulk to defend itself and the portal in the ancient cities let the skulk into this world.
As for the new dimension that the skulk originates from, I don’t think we’ll ever get to see it in the game. Maybe the technology to power up the city portal is lost, but I imagine the “skulk world” is so dangerous and volatile that we wouldn’t be able to survive there. It’s a world that isn’t like ours and we were never meant to see it.

Did anyone else hear the evoker summoning noises when the creature screams in the disc?
