Friends, today we’re floating our way back into the world of Pokemon! These companions come in ALL shapes and sizes but one specific Pokemon has got my theorist senses tingling! That is Wailord, the HUGE whale Pokemon. Debate around him has raged for a while on whether or not he is actually lighter than air. I know, sounds crazy for a humongous whale Pokemon, but when you take a closer look… it’s not really all that crazy.

Ok even if wailord is ot lighter than air but if voltorb which has a density of 160 compared to wailord’s 2.18. Know you tell me how its even possible for it to swim. My only explanation is that its density is very low but somehow swim is because it sucks up a lot of air in order to keep it down

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire actually have a feature in the Dex to have the 3D model of Wailord compared to the 3D model of the trainer, and it’s much larger than what it looks like in Sword and Shield
