DESCRIPTIVE TEXT:

This trailer features live-action footage of Idris Elba in a nightclub mixed with scenes from Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

Idris Elba leans on a bar at a lavish club. He is a black, middle-aged man dressed in a suit. He speaks while looking at the camera. He steps away from the bar and walks through the club. He passes a waitress carrying cocktails on a tray and a couple who whisper to each other. They all look at Elba suspiciously as he passes; one man’s eyes flash blue. Elba walks toward a group of people sitting in a booth. They all stare at him and a man from the group stands up as Elba approaches.

The world glitches red around Elba and he turns into a CGI Solomon Reed from Phantom Liberty. Characters from the game — Johnny Silverhand, President Rosalind Myers, Kurt Hansen, So Mi — appear behind Reed and point their guns at him. Reed pulls out his gun and aims it forward.

In between shots of Elba walking, scenes from the game appear on the screen. The scenes start with MaxTac landing on the ground. A Barghest soldier in an exoskeleton and a battle tank attacks V with a laser. More shots of MaxTac as they kick V to the ground and aim their weapons. V uses their Monowire, Mantis Blades, and katana to brutally kill enemies. Shots of vehicle combat show V shooting at cars and a motorbike exploding mid-air. The combat scenes are filled with fire and bullets. V looks into the neon-skyscraper lined landscape of Night City.

The video ends with a graphic showing V with a gun in hand against a Cyberpunk 2077 logo background. Text reads: Phantom Liberty. Pre-order now.
