When you got to the checkpoint you literally just had to walk on the other side of the street…..
25:50 the entry is on the right side not the wrong way go back on the left. 25:58 you are looking at it, there is no glitch or bug just check out the area first. Don’t be 100% reliant on the map that shows the path forward is on the right side of the street so you wont think to check the left side.

Try overheat option, it deals a lot of damage to the enemies.
The Dogtown gate is like a checkpoint they won’t shoot at you unless you shoot first. You can enter and exit the city as you please 🙌🏾
