Brad you might have to complete the other objective first for the one gate to unlock and you get to the last objective
Holy snap, when you opened that door is episode 2, with the down attack, you were using the other weapon, then the door opened I think. Later on when you tried you were back on starting weapon.

I like how the enemies and aren’t as dark and depressing as they were in the first game. It gives you the impression that the previous Penitent One actually did some good in the world by taking the throne.
