Playeruknown’s Battlegrounds continues to look like a sore loser as the PUBG team file against Epic in a desperate attempt to halt Fortnite’s Korean expansion.
Bluehole is more or less another textbook case of ‘fame and success inflating ego to blowing up’. Also, small reminder that it’s because of EPIC that PUBG is even around. They have a license from EPIC to use their unreal engine. So, with a word, there goes their license and there goes PUBG.
Well hey if they want to sue every single battle royale game that exists, I hear some upstart indie dev called Activision is planning on adding one to their cult-classic “Call of Duty” franchise later this year. They probably should go after them too.
talk about biting the hand that feeds them sheesh. PUBG uses the Unreal Engine which is made by Epic Games. Epic Games could now easily flip the table on their heads by saying they are breaching the user license agreement. This scenario has happened before: Silicon Knights sued Epic and then Epic claimed that the user license agreement was being violated, they won that case and Silicon Knights was ordered to pull and destroy all copies of Too Human, which bankrupted the studio and thus caused its demise.
What you might not see is that Korean courts are biased against foreign companies. PUBG will make themselves out as a Korean company fighting the evil foreign hords and appeal to the public’s emotions to sway the verdict.
What were they thinking!? (catching a whopper?)
SAD!

Isn’t PUBg made from epic games game engine?
Went from blue hole to brown hole
The Fine Brothers should sue player unknown for stealing the same tactic they used to copyright the word react.
They weren’t even the first ones to do battle royale, what a bunch of sad children.
Ooooh boy. Epic is gonna tear them a new Bluehole I tell ya.
Ahaaaaa, OK then ?
unless the court is in North Korea PUBG will fail spectacularly
“Can we copystrike Fortnite? Like right now?” -Some thot 2018

Player Unknown has to be the best inventor ever. He invented the assault rifle, the pump shotgun, parachuting, grass, chickens, utensils… Incredible.
Steve Jobs wished he had an ounce of his sheer talent.
*I have a feeling they’re going to lose this one*

Bluehole? They act more like Blueballs.
Tencent owns Bluehole but Tencent also holds a 40% stake in Epic Games…pretty fishy…
I have a guilty pleasure in watching certain companies bury themselves.
I’m suing God of War because I was a dad first, and it made being a dad look cooler than real life.
