I am playing through Far Cry 5 right now and I can not stand some of the design decisions they make like putting in mandatory steering assist for vehicles and enemies being super dumb and easy to kill even on the so called hard mode.

I think Far Cry 3, as well as the first Assassin’s Creed, have what’s called Franchise Original Sin. Assassin’s Creed has the climbing up really tall buildings to reveal the map and little items that you don’t need but feel compelled to get all of anyway. Far Cry 3 started the trend of clearing outposts and climbing up radio towers to reveal part of the map. Pretty good on their own, but are annoying after having so much of it. Why yes, I do frequent TV Tropes. Why do you ask?
