What if gus is the female, not all spiders devour their partner after mating and there are even some where the male is exclusively responsible for guarding the eggs in exchange for not suffering the same fate as species where that’s not the case, it would make sense the bus is even way larger than the train so it would be accurate to most spider dimorphism
