  1. Drinking game! Everytime anybody says “Yeah” take a shot.

  2. on display… laziness and contempt for the consumers. you sold us a 60 dollar empty, shallow, and albeit pretty sandbox. Of course there’s a ton of feedback. there’s a lot of suggestions on how to paint a blank canvas. This should have been early access.

  3. Make the sea more alive, NPC ships we can board and loot. Maybe even something like navy ships that are hunting pirates that we have to defend ourselves against. Also more animals, whales etc. Something else I think the game sorely needs is a large island safezone. Not where you can cash in but where you can chill, meet other players without weapons. Show off your cosmetics and play minigames and stuff. And make it alive with AI walking around. People to talk too. Kind of like Sanctuary in Borderlands 2 where there are people walking around saying weird stuff. Beggars and dogs running around that you can pet and feed a banana. Perhaps the premium store could be here as well.

  4. I suggest that you put in skeleton ships around the world which has some good loot. Or maybe add more weapon variants and instruments and better upgraded ships.

  5. please add AI ships that we can actually pirate from! All the players just run away 🙁

  6. The game has been amazing fun. I’m excited to see where it goes from here. Thanks for all your hard work so far.

  7. You released an empty game. Sea of Thieves is a game that is as wide as an ocean, but as deep as a puddle. I no longer trust you Rare, as the only thievery here is you selling this hollow husk of a sandbox at a full $60 price.

RELEASE A FULL GAME AT RELEASE, not a platform for updates and DLC. I’m sick of it.

  8. Andrei Ledermüller

plz add some minigames like dice/cardgames, fishing, Rock-Paper-Scissor

  9. I think you should implement wanted posters for legendary pirates!! When legendary pirates log on to a server all other players receive these posters. Then they can try to hunt them down to collect their bounties! 🙂

  10. We need a skeleton ship and towns

  11. I’d love to see animals you can get like parrot/monkey on your shoulder, a small boat to go from the ship to island, different flags you can raise like white for peace black for raiding party an red for pvp players idk just acouple things??

  12. You can hear the bloody camera man breathing.

  13. It’s a shame that so many people have been hating on this game. I did my research before I pre ordered and I watched every video I could find on it. Yes it may be lacking some content but it’s still hella fun! Good job Rare, can’t wait to see what comes of it in the future. You’re really on to something here!

  14. Sorry guys but…this is “No Man’s Sea”

  15. I think all ships being players is a mistake. I get that it could be difficult to program and have decent ai. But imagine ghost ships or Skelton crews, hell even EIC guarding a rich merchant ship.

Have a player merchant ship where players get maybe half or a fourth of skull fort treasure. They have to deliver it to an outpost across the map and the ship becomes clearly marked either being a huge flag or something else. That way people actually pirate instead of kill for no reason

  16. Those who compare Sea of Thieves to No Man’s Sky release are severely overreacting and misguided. And it is not even about content or expectations. The biggest differences are in the transparency and feedback. When No Man’s Sky released, we heard nothing from the developers that things were being updated and fixed, or if our voices were even heard. The transparency Rare has shown after the game’s release far exceeds anything I’ve experienced from a gaming company. The game might not be everything people wanted from the start (neither was Overwatch, FFXV, nearly any Bethesda game regarding performance, etc.) but if they keep up this effort, it will be everything we want and more.

  17. It’s cool that games can come out not done now

  18. I have some great ideas.
1 add a small row boat that you can drop off your ship and make a quick escape or to get to the loot on islands.
    2 Fishing and selling fish.
3 An upgradeable ship, it would add so much diversity and make your ship yours. So for one there would be a second row of cannons but can hold less stuff and move slower.
    4 Voting for a captain.
5 claiming ships and or undiscovered island, so you can make your own base or locking an enemy team in their own brig to give you more time to steal their loot.
6 Spear guns and upgradeable weapons.
7 Levels, you can keep the reputation system but have a XP scale and ranks.
8 Buffing the kraken and more stuff like Moby dick.
    9 Bountys and wanted signs.
10 Add Daviy Jones and or ghost or skeleton ships.
Some of my ideas for the game. I love the game and I thought you would like some ideas.
    Smaller ideas
1 Opening chest and having a 50/50 chance of it being more gold than selling it or having it be less.
2 A fire bomb or Molotov, to set fires and wanting the enemy to get water in the boat for once.
3 A surprise for each quest. Like gta 5 CEO stuff. So if you found a “RARE” treasure then a beacon would track you and let player steal it. Or when you get to a chest then their would be a note on it leading to the real loot.
4 Boss loot. A kraken chest, Daviy Jones’ loot.
5 Solveing island mysteries. Like missing people, murders, and such. And you can have reputation for it.
6 Make it so booze coat gold to refill on the ship and it the tavern and carry the barrel
