Ah, yes, Vampire Survivor is too political for potentially having trans characters. Not like the vidya games of yore like FF7 which had the very apolitical story of a group of eco terrorists fighting an evil capitalist company. Or all of Metal Gear Solid. Those games had no politics whatsoever I yell ya what.

This vid is great. I personally unsubscribed because despite the weekly updates you don’t say much at all. Apparently you beating a dead horse like Square Enix for literally a quarter of your episodes wasn’t the reason I left: apparently it’s because I’m a transphobe. Good shit to know.
First off, I love the new logo.
Before I watched the video, I showed the thumbnail with a friend of mine, and even HE said the line about how the content isn’t the same, and probably nothing to do with being trans. And even I knew that was bullshit, but he didn’t want to hear it.
Now I’ve watched it, and I’m going to go annoy him about it. He won’t watch it himself, but I’m gonna try.
I wonder if this is a sign that society is starting to wake up to the mental illness of these individuals.

I’ve been watching more consistently as Steph has gotten more biting with her critique on capitalism. I’ll be honest and out myself as problematic and admit the transitioning period tickled my lizard brain in an uncomfortable way.. But the content was good and I am happy when people can find themselves and be true to themselves and now the awkwardness in my head is gone. Just admiration. Good on you Steph.
Weirdly enough, I never got into your old “game bad” content. The more political you got, the better, and the change of attitude that came with your transition made this channel that much better. Also, you should note that you have an amazing views to subscribers ratio on the Jimquisition. Goes to show that your true audience is far from dwindling
