I am getting pissed at people saying “Stop complaining” I don’t know why people are making it seem like EA is a small company with little workers who aren’t educated in this industry. They are. EA is a multimillionaire dollar business!!
They are making the Sims 4 suck. There’s no baby animations( random but still) the game has been out for almost 4 years and nothing they gave us was good enough. We pay so much money for little expansion packs and stuff packs and game packs. Like the vampire one. The sims 3 got a whole supernatural one! (Zombies, Fairies, Werewolves, vampires,)
Sims 3 expansion packs had 8 packs in a span of 3 years while sims 4 only had three. ??
EA you have to step your game up.

And why have horses if Sims 4 isn’t even open world? They will add what you guys want later so stop complaining and be patient!

First of all, everyone has a right to complain. Yes, I want pets. Do I think they worked hard? Probably. Do I think there should be more pets? Yes. Do I think we should control them? Not so much, but I hope they aren’t just furniture like the babies in sims 4. Will I still get the pack? Probably.
My real complaint is with the cost, for something so basic. You *should* be able to get pets, ( not even pets, just cats and dogs, mind you!) and not cough up 40$
I can complain all I like, we aren’t attacking some poor innocent company, EA Is making people pay for something that should’ve been in the base game to begin with.
At this point EA could come out with anything, and the whiny fanbase would still bitch and moan. They gave you what you wanted? What now?
In pets, I only ever got cats & dogs, rarely got a horse, and anytime I got critters it wouldn’t take me long to set them free as they were pretty boring. So I don’t mind that it’s only cats and dogs. I love how much personality the pets have, and getting to be a vet is so cool! Can your pets get sick if you’re not taking care of them properly? Can’t wait to find out more on that. Also, I don’t mind that you can’t control the pets, I actually prefer that. Makes it more realistic, as you can’t just cancel their actions or make them pee outside, you have to actually train them. And it looks like toddlers can interact with them more, instead of just “sniff” and “lick”. And they can actually interact with puppies/kittens now! The pets look soooo much better than they did in TS3. They’re adding wildlife! Color wheel is back for your pets! There’s a new town, and it looks beautiful! Ahhh I can’t wait, November is so far away!
It’s kind of sad because everyone was mad when Toddler Stuff was announced. Now all you care about them being controlled and horses. Be glad you’re getting anything. If you don’t want to buy the pack, then don’t. Alright?
I’m tired of seeing people swearing at each other left and right. It’s called Cats and Dogs for a reason. If you want horses so badly, then go play The Sims 3. This community is the worst. All it does is complain, no matter what.

I'm pretty new to the Sims games, so for me this looks amazing. I have the Sims 3, and compare to that this is a very big upgrade. We all have our own opinions, and if you choose to buy it you choose to buy it. I'm not saying you have to.
Can everyone please calm down. It’s a game. I personally am the most excited I’ve ever been for a pack but everyone has to be swearing and bashing everyone and yelling here and there. This is probably one of many animal packs to come. Who knows. Maybe there will be a horses game pack or something! Only time can tell and EA is making a great game. Nobody said you had to buy the pack. I understand opinions and go ahead but this needs to be taken down a notch. The Sims community has always been so nice and kind and happy but now people are turning against it for an amazing expansion pack that was begged for for years and now you don’t want it. You do not have to buy it. I have already pre ordered this and i’m excited but that’s my opinion. Don’t buy it if it’s a let down to you. It’s that simple. Also this is just one minute of gameplay. And it’s not even the gameplay trailer!! Just wait for more and more trailers to come.

I’m amazed people think that EA need defending when people criticise them.
A. EA has been proven to have a terrible track record in the past (bringing up Mass Effect Andromeda for example) and it’s been noticable for many years, especially since The Sims 2, while I love it, is somewhat responsible for the terrible expensive DLC culture that we have nowadays by charging $20 each for them. But at least they had more content than some cats and dogs and a new career. Sims 2 Pets had a new lifestate, Sims 3 Pets had a new pet type. Sims 4 Pets has a career that a single modder could put together in a single working week. NOWHERE NEAR WORTH THE INSULTINGLY EXPENSIVE $50 PRICE TAG.
B. People treat EA as if it’s an indie company with maybe 5-10 employees, and not the AAA monolith that it actually fucking is. “Aw but they worked really hard on it!” “I’d like to see you do better!” and other equally flawed arguments litter the comments section. The coding is the exact same as The Sims 2 with players being unable to control pets, with there only being cats and dogs. It’s likely just old coding recycled and updated to the engine used for The Sims 4.
C. Despite the obvious cashgrab, the like-dislike bar still shows that most people buy into EA’s crap, literally and figuratively. 70k likes to 600 dislikes, rounded for convenience.
D. We are allowed to criticise obvious cashgrabs, and charging $50 for cats, dogs, and a new career is fucking insulting.

I’m not going to, I don’t have Sims 4 to start with. That doesn’t make the criticisms magically go away, nor does it make the fact that you’re being cheated of your money fair either. Then again, most Sims fans live an upper-middle-class life and have money to burn.
YES. My dad said if I get good grades then I could get all of the game packs. (Vampire, Bowling, Parenthood, Pets, Vintage Glamour, etc.) If I get all A’s next year, MY MOM IS GUNNA DYE MY BOTTOM HALF OF MY HAIR RAINBOW
For everyone who say TS4 sucks comparing to TS3. Toddlers were the most outcasted life stage out of all in TS3.
It had an open world, high end graphics and “so much to do but not actually” don’t make it great or better than TS4. This is a SIMULATION game not THE BEST GRAPHICS WITH AN OPEN WORLD game. Go play TS3 or make a better one yourself
Vampires were trash, sims were all looking same. There was only two voice actors, one male and one female. Building was fricking annoying and wasn’t simple. There were two types of packs, expansion and stuff packs now we have one more pack type called game packs, that’s why we got so many expansions in TS3 but now there are three. IDEK why are you guys whining that much none of sims games (except expansions) weren’t sequels they were whole another games that’s why every the sims game start all over then grow. Why I never see an honest comparison under any new trailer? Why don’t you write about what TS4 brought? You are all free to complain, whine and cry about it but if you don’t know how to compare then don’t compare.
