Team Gumdrop’s project has game breaking bugs, the world seems underdeveloped, camera placement can feel out of control, the graphics can be underwhelming, hit detection can be weird, and the character just doesn’t always seem to move the way you want him to

I get why Team Gumdrop won, but I think I’d just generally prefer BazooK-47 for the fact it’s a more functional game and had more intuitive gameplay and a better level of polish.
Its a joke video and of course Jon’s team can’t win because he’s the owner of the channel.
It’s more Dutch than Polish.
In all fairness, Jon did contribute the only actual resource he had to the team; skits and situational comedy.
Not to insult him at all, but that’s the thing he does – jokes. Using him for a Red Alert style live-action cutscene was a really good choice and probably was the absolute best use they could have had for him.
