BudderCreep3r Most indie game developers dont have the money for next level graphics. If you knew even a *CENT* about games you’d know that bit graphics will never die.
Pete Kachew I understand that most indie devs don’t have the money for good graphics, but first that wasn’t my point, and secondly i just think it limits the game and it’s audience. 3d graphics are now out the window, you have to stick to specified genres because genres like FPSs don’t work very well with 16 bit, you get rid of that audience that doesn’t have nostalgia for those titles. Anyway, most of all, i don’t mind it, but it’s just EVERYWHERE! I don’t know the difference and can’t distinguish from these games because they are all similar and have the same style. I realize that that style will never die, and i’m not asking for that, just maybe some originality will bring more of an appeal and will distinguish you from the crowd.
