I love this review not just because it’s AVGN reviewing Sonic 06, but because it’s a Sonic review that’s not biased against the Sonic franchise. I think mainly because it’s meant to be in-character of a guy who probably hasn’t played too many games released after the N64 era, but it’s refreshing to see a Sonic review that doesn’t pull out some bullshit about “minimal platforming” or any of the shit IGN pulls.
