Shovel Knight: The Switch To Switch Has No Hitch (Jimpressions)

I always liked Shovel Knight, but I never loved it. Not until it came to Switch.

  1. It’s nice to see Shovel Knight still alive and well.

  2. No d-pad in handheld mode is a deal breaker especially when you can play with the SNES Classic controller on Wii U.

  3. Shovel knight for smash

  4. A Jimpression for a game from 2014, let alone 2017?!

  5. What happened to the video talking about For Honor yesterday? It said it got removed.

  6. The Switch’s portability factor does wonders. I decided to buy DOOM a second time on switch playing it mostly in handheld and I really had a good time with it. The fun I had was very different from the first time I played it and it was quite enjoyable.

  7. Did they change the art style? Thats not what I remember Treasure knight looking like

  8. Cherry Biscottitouille

I think Plague Knight’s campaign would have been way better if his levels were designed for him specifically, rather than ripped from the original

  9. im going to piss in your desk

  10. I find it disturbing that you seem to be making fun of lost odyssey, a game with some legitimately good writing. The bad guy introduced early on is pretty crap, but the main characters recollections are interesting enough on their own to say the game is worth playing at least once.

    I misunderstood. Mea culpa.

  11. You should do the Specter Knight one. It’s VERY good.

  12. Does Shovel Knight have too many DLC?

  13. Ha platform switch, Nintendo switch
    That’s funny jim

  14. R.I.P. For Honor rant, it was suddenly taken away from us yesterday

  15. Atrocious Nightmare

That platform switch pun/edit was a work of art.

  16. There's a starman waiting in the sky

This game is one of my top 10 favourite 2D platformers. I know it’s cliche to say this, but Shovel Knight for Smash.

  17. I’m only waiting for a physical release on Switch. Have it on PS4/Vita

  18. Looking at the video title:
Oh dear God, please don’t have Jim rapping in that video.

  19. Absolutely fell in love with this game personally on the PS Vita. Trying on Steam was alright but it really shined brightly for me on a portable/handheld. Could just be my roots though, growing up on the 8-bit style and spending thousands of hours with hundreds of AA batteries on Gameboy systems.
