SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE OH MAH GAWD HYPE! – Why Activision, Why?

It’s pretty remarkable that the sheer attachment of a publisher can significantly damage one’s interest in a game, but From Software and Activision partnering up is cause for justified concern, I reckon.

Anyway, here’s the E3 trailer for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

  1. First because I know people hate these comments and I never get to post one.

  2. Ganymede, Jupiter III

    Yay From!
    Ew Activision!
*How am I supposed to feel!?*

  3. Darko Mihajlovski

can’t wait to get the full skeleton skin from lootboxes

  4. I can already see that knife around Sekiro’s neck, Activision making them do things they may not wan

  5. GHOST OF TSHUSHIMA THO

  6. That Activision part DESTROYED ME!

  7. so early it’s somehow only available in 720p60

  8. FromSoft can shop around for the best deal. Activation offered them the best deal probably so they went with them.

  9. Someone brought up a good point that such a prestigious developer like From probably have several publishers to choose from. I also doubt that From would sacrifice what makes their games, well, their games. While I am skeptical because it is Activision, I do hope From picked the best deal of the bunch and it just so happened to be Activision this time. At least it’s unlikely a PS exclusive, right?

  10. Kind of how i felt when i saw the fallout 76 trailer. Yeah new fallout. Wait its only online and multiplayer. My interest decreased significantly as a result.

  11. I’m waiting for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice appear on Blizzard Launcher at any moment.

    Any moment…

  12. Nicholas Castleton

Could have been worse, could have been EA publisher.

  13. Activision: Customers pay twice

  14. I think VaatiVidya brought up an excellent point in his video regarding the whole Activision thing. From Software do have such a big name for themselves that their bargaining power is equally big, so they probably struck the best deal with Activision with Sony and Bamco probably being in the negotiations as well. When I heard that, I started to be way less concerned with their role as a publisher, and oh my does that gameplay look right up my alley. Here’s to hoping Activision keeps their greedy, goblin hands off such a beloved game company.

  15. I can’t wait to see Jim’s response to whatever the hell that was Sony did for their Press Conference. That wasn’t a Press Conference, it was a joke, a bad one.

  16. What’s next?
    A game by Naughty Dog…
    …published by EA.

  17. ACTIVISION – SUCKERS BUY TWICE ?????????

  18. ….Activision?
OH COME ON, FROM SOFTWARE. WHY?!?!

  19. It is possible for Activision to release a single player game that sells well with no micro transactions . Crash did it last year.

  20. DakAttak The Maniak

Fromsoft should have mimics disguised as loot boxes.
