The water turn dark to hide the fact that there are just tenticles in the water and not an entire kraken or else you’d be able to go under water and see it instead of just complete darkness.
It doesn’t even hit the ship? Really???

My dudes. Rare has said there is a body, the Kraken was not taking enough damage so it fled, you have to destroy all its tenticals in order for it to reveal its head and kill the beast. They did not kill the kraken. Rare has also said the kraken will evolve as an enemy and can differ from every update

FYI, the Kraken will have many stages and this was only the first stage. Each stage gets harder and harder and the final one is when the Kraken actually exposes its entire body.

FYI they didn’t kill it, they survived an encounter. Apparently it gets more difficult each time you encounter it.
EVERYONE THIS IS JUST THE FIRST ENCOUNTER.
It will get harder and it will eventually reveal its body.

Everyone listen up This is only the first time this guy encounters the Kraken. the more times you encounter it the stronger it gets. It will eventually knock your ship and around and sink it very easily. So before you go writing in the comments saying”It’s to easy this boss sucks what a letdown read this.
