A shittily captured video of a shitty situation.Munchlax utilized metronome to use Substitute. Gastly then used Spite to drain all the PP from Metronome so I couldn’t use it anymore.
I was stuck with Normal moves, Gastly was stuck with Ghost moves, neither of us could hit each other. It was a Trainer fight so running was not possible, and Substitute prevented me from switching Munchlax to my other Pokemon.
Pokemon Moon has made me very sad today.
