  1. It just works, i dunno why, but everything just works.

  2. I busted sooo many nuts on my beautiful RGB keyboard

  3. They said the price for a RTX2070 would be $499 but it is $599 on the website.

  4. my computer is from 2011, come at me bro

  5. so technologically advanced… amazing! Too bad it’s going to live its life as a Bitcoin miner

    • Not if they limit it to ONE per customer!

    • +K-Bow Wtf are you talking about, gpu miming is 20x less profitable now than a year ago. It’s dead Jim.

The real thing to watch out for is when Nvidia replaces these with 7nm chips in less than a year. These are just a stopgap while AMD works on their 7nm part.

    • Lol bitcoin miners stopped using gaming graphic cards years ago.

    • Joshua Valvi it might you never know. Just not atm as there currently aren’t any algorithms to utilize them. But perhaps some day. AI has lots of potential uses. There is even that rumor that Satoshi nakamoto (creator of btc) is not a real person but actually an AI himself. It’s just an alias, nobody knows who he really is nor have met him. Some say the code and creation of such a system is simply way too complicated for any human to have come up w/ on their own. And the AI uses the whole blockchain & all of its connected, combined processing power required for itself as some sort of supercomputer, for its neural networks aka “brain”.

But anyways that’s going a bit off the deep end. As of now tho, you’re right they have no use, but there is (supposedly) some great untapped power there. Just depends if ppl will make the effort to actually go, get one, & then specifically code for it, which is work. I wouldn’t be surprised if only those huge mining corps or countries/gov’t’s themselves, like (in) china for ex, would invest in doing so, since they _really_ want that majority supply. They’re doing all that they can rn w/ massive asic farms as it is.

  6. But can it run Crysis?

  7. so now i have to wait 355 days again for the 2030, ugh

  8. Its like a 1080TI……. TIMES TEN! If you take the keynote then divide it by 10 you get…..a 1080TI! If you take a 1080TI then divide it in half…Then times that by 20!…

Pacc Mman ohh the hate for rtx…

    • Rich
How do you know? It’s going to be better at rendering Raytracing – but raytracing will also be extremely taxing – other than that, when it comes to raw power, only a 2080 Ti is better than the 1080 Ti

  9. no gaming performance comparison?

    • yudhisr Pshh. You think you need that for people to cough up $1,000 to Nvidia? Lol

    • Probably because the 1080ti is 10% off performance of 2080ti outside of Ray tracing. Oh, and 2080ti is almost double the price. We’ll find out soon from. Benchmarks

    • ehha21 you mean the 2080 right? From everything so far that indeed seems not that far off from the 1080ti. But the 2080ti should be a decent jump up. But like you said, we need to wait & see from official benches.

  10. 2:53:08 Jensen Huang sounds like the BITCONNEEEEEEEEEECT guy…

  11. One less lonely memer

What mean anything that pushs graphic whores forward?

  12. Time to go 1080 shopping

    • +Vaibhav Shah what are you saying ?

    • Vaibhav Shah oh you not-up-to-date one, miners are the ones selling them. It just isn’t as profitable anymore, so many of em are dumping them. They want out. Look at the prices, they’re back to normal & will get even lower now after this. Maybe they hope to sucker some other uninformed ppl (like yourself) who think they’re gonna strike it rich now too, but actually have no idea what they’re getting into.

    • nomaxiq of course, anything in the entire world when a newer version releases the price drops on the older ones

  13. All of this will be outdated by 2019…

    • +Rajalolxd Well yeah they came out nearly 5 years ago and we’re highly outdated then. This current gen if consoles is an insane underpowered jokes but they are getting the job done as best as they can.

    • Glorious4K60FPS username checks ouy

    • This all depends upon a number of things:
1)The proliferation of the 7nm processor node.
      2)Competition from AMD/Radeon. (Goes with point 1)
3)Lack of adoption of DXR by more game developers.
4)The possibility of separate cards being made that are dedicated to ray tracing only, allowing GTX and Radeon GPUs to gain full DXR support. Imagine being able to upgrade your GTX 2060 to have RT and Tensor cores. Or being able to upgrade to, say, a GTX 2180, and keep your old ray tracing card. They could be called RTAs..or “ray trace accelerators.”

      Graphics aren’t released yearly…

  14. the crowd is dead, felt bad for him

    • I think they lowered ambient volume when recording this so only his voice close to the mic was picked up, with the exception of some especially loud people.

    • Typical German crowd. How do I know? I am German 😀

    • It was kinda cringey how it had so many of the same videos and Powerpoint slides as the Siggraph presentation. I might as well have skipped it. And the actual game trailers looked like they were thrown together in a day, using mostly content that was already shown in the presentation, like the BF5 eye reflections and stuff. And finally, not to mention the “real time” examples that weren’t rendered in real time.

    • The sound is plugged into the mic feed instead of a room mic or Omni mic to listen to crowd noise

  15. Keynote begins at 1:26:48

  16. so double the price for shadows ok.

  17. 2:12:39 – did someone hold [shift] in paintbrush to make that audience? I can see the same dude about 10 times!!XD

  18. Graphics, fidelity, realism, density. Graphics cards are important.

  20. +HarribroGames the most important

  21. Underground Boxing Network

+Joao Justiniano wrong!! It depends on screen size. For 4k vs 8k on a small monitor is point less bet 4k vs 8k on last 80in tv might be noticeable. Like i have a 32 in 1080 and it fine but a 65in 1080 you can see the pixels..8k on anything 22in 24in or so on monitor is pretty dumb. 4k is perfect. 4k highest graphic settings vs 8k with low graphic setting. The 4k will look better. Same with my 1080 screen with everything maxed out vs someone who has 4k screen with all settings low.. My 1080 graphics are better.

  22. Underground Boxing Network

But yeah 10 years is way long at . even now we can have 20k tvs at 60fps. The tech is there its just making it cheaper. You can already buy 42in 4k for $180 and name brand 42in for $280

  23. No ones ever gratefull
