I mean we had to wait several years for the first BotW, and there were multi-year gaps between every little trailer or piece of news we got. Although I’m pretty sure they’re using the same engine as before, which would cut dev time significantly, don’t be surprised if it still takes a while before they reveal anything about 2. Zelda games have always taken a long time to make (with the exception of, like, Majora’s mask. But I fell this situation is different from that because I doubt they’ll be reusing character assets, it will likely be another open world game, and I doubt much of the world will be the same as #1 for the sake of justifying a sequel.)
TLDR; Don’t get your hopes up. It’s gonna take a while.
Fun fact: A remaster of a 10-year old racing game is EA’s first proper release on Switch.
