  1. meanwhile for Nintendo Switch ….

  2. Wait, has there ever been a black guy in LoTR? xD

  3. Tolkien Black guy at 1:34…

  4. Meanwhile at Nintendo, they’re just getting 2011’s Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.

  5. Do i need to play shadow of mordor before this one?

  6. Horizon, Andromeda, Prey, Nier, Nioh, and now this!!!! The hype is real……but the money isn’t…..

  7. What an absolutely amazing trailer. I know it’s only CGI, but as a massive LOTR fan this was absolutely epic. Cannot wait to see more!

  8. Lol the ONLY beings in middle earth described as black are the “black” half-trolls with white eyes and red tongues that have some representation among the Harad, who are supposed to be north african arabs which are described as swarthy. Sorry buds but there are not black people in Tolkien’s world.

  9. Stop making rings, ffs. Bad things happen when you keep making rings!

  10. Commonwealth Minuteman

Tolkien would roll over in his grave.

  11. I have nothing against black people, however there were never black people in the LOTR universe, and there is nothing wrong with that, since the creator wants to create a fantasy middle age Europe. This is somehow racist though and black people had to be added.

But all of the above aside, the game looks pretty cool, especially the balrog. Let’s see how it turns out!

  12. WE WUZ IN MIDDLE EARTHZ AND SHIEET

  13. Thank god they have a token black person or this game would be racist.

  14. IS THAT A BLACK GUY IN A LORD OF THE RINGS SETTING!? ARE THOSE REAL!? I NEED A LORE CAPTAIN HERE!

  15. What black guy is doing on middle-earth?

  16. The black guy looks so out of place in terms of LotR lore. Minority pandering no doubt.

  17. You can see gollum on the left 0:23

  18. The black dude wouldn’t have bothered me so much if he wasn’t put so blatantly on the screen multiple times to say “LOOK IT’S A BLACK GUY, WE’RE DIVERSE AND STUFF” same with the chick next to him. Just stay truer to the books please… And just before you say “there were harad” just remember they hated each other guts at this point, literally killed each other on sight.

  19. Me: SO EXCITED!! CAN’T WAIt? Everyone else: Wtf a black guy

  20. Lets make a game based around African fiction and stick a big pale ginger right in the middle of it.
