My favorite character and probably the best character is Impa, she is one of the best Warriors characters I’ve ever played with out of the entire DW style games. I wish they would have given Ganon a Skin to make him look like Demise, one of if not the best character design to ever come out of a Zelda game imo. This game was missing one character that should have made it in, Nintendo should have added Vaati! I just don’t understand how the hell Vaati never made it into this game, I mean FFS this character was in THREE Zelda games, but instead we get fucking Yuga, Ravio and toon zelda/a damn ghost version of Zelda that possesses some ridiculous looking armor!? Why Nintendo, WHY!!!
I think Omega Force shows more passion when they either have guest directors, or new directors involved. Like Hyrule Warriors was this director’s first time directing, but was involved with many of the Dynasty Warriors games. Same with the Dragon Quest Heroes games, who previously only directed Dynasty Warriors 6 and Trinity Souls of Zill O’ll. Whereas Dynasty Warriors 9 was directed by the same guy who’s been doing it since the first game. Just a thought.
Hyrule Warriors was the first Warriors games I ever owned. And it really set the bar high for all the future Warriors games I would go on to play. It’s not my favorite entry, but man if it isn’t super polished and packed full of content.

My one issue is, they’ve had three releases to make Manhandla not a miserable nightmare to fight. It’s genuinely inexcusable it’s still this bad.
Hyrule Warriors was my first Warriors game, good God what a high note I started on.
I’m a fan of Linkle and her dual-wielding SMG crossbows.
This was my first warriors game and I adored it, so much content in the Switch version too.

I haven’t tried a warriors game since ps2 era, maybe I should give this crossover a try ?
