Survival Horror is being bastardized by the indie community. The giant crypt keeper is a nice touch though.

I don’t know why more games didn’t copy Deadly Premonition’s split screen effect when you hide in a cupboard, that made me more nervous than just standing there.

I never been a fan a game like this where you cannot fight back. This game may appeal to some but the major deal breaker is not being able to defend yourself.

As great as I think P.T. was, the cancellation of Silent Hills and removal of P.T. from the Playstation store created a vacuum for cookie cutter indie horror games like this to come in and try to take their spot with mixed results.

It dates back to Japanese kabuki theater but I agree in recent times has been overused.

Jim, did you miss Visage? You said there werent any promissing horror games recently. If you havent checked it out yet i recomend it.

God I hate these kind of games.They’re so boring and formulaic. Amnesia has honestly stunted the horror game genre. Anyone or their dog could make a game where you just have to run from the scary monster and not get caught.
Also, Jim really has a knack for finding every video game with a penis in it. ?
