I’m okay with hentai games on steam, but not the low quality/lazy ones. I will gladly 100% Eroico once it comes out. HOWEVER, if they really want to let this happen, they should have a separate section for them so people who don’t want to see them, can just avoid clicking that section. No need to hide tags or something since that can be abused
Edit: Check your Store Preferences, because I didn’t notice the “Adult Only Sexual Content” tick box they added, which is different from the “Nudity/Sexual Content” tick box. Mine was on by default
So Valve allows NSFW games onto Steam but then proceeds to remove NSFW games that it INITIALLY PERMITS ONTO STEAM BECAUSE OF HOW SHITTY STEAM DIRECT IS!?
Valve, I don’t know how to tell you this but I think there’s a problem that’s being dearly overlooked here.

In the steam store it says “Similar to games you’ve played: Quake Champions”. LOLOLOLOL!!!!
This game has midi music. Not retro style tracker music, just Midi files the “developer” probably found on some site. It’s 2002 all over again.
Honestly, at least greenlight had some level of control. The point of them removing greenlight was so that they could implement a better system but they took away greenlight and did nothing.

How are they allowed to take random hentai pics to make a profit on their game? That’s some newgrounds shit from the 2000s not something that should be on Steam.
This is hilarious. But I’m not going waste my money on this. My standards for hentai games are higher than this.
It will reach a point where Valve’s efforts to NOT exercise quality control will ironically become MORE effort than actually checking to see if the game follows Steam’s Guidelines.
There are a lot of hentai/adult/18+ games out there that are actually really well done, and those I have no problem with being on Steam – but the barely working, thrown together, semi-interactive programs (I won’t give them the benefit of calling them games) with some random ecchi pictures copy/pasted from Google Images (such as the plethora of 18+ “puzzle” “games”) have no place on the platform – or at least no place where I will ever see them by chance.
I should say I (obviously) have no problem with hentai. Just pointless rubbish like the nonsense that swarmed on Steam in light of its leniency.
