Personally, think Gregory’s mother must have not made Gregory who he was, but who she wanted him to be. So when he was talking to Charlie, she must have revived his lost memories which madde him remember the horrors of the animatronics and his father’s abandonment. This also meant he knew his brother was the only one who could help him and he knew where he was, so Gregory snuck into the concert. Freddy saw him and for a moment, Michael pushed forward. The delicate balance was tilted, causing Freddy to glitch and crash on stage. That was all the proof Gregory needed that Michael was in Freddy and with Michael’s help, they’ll finally bring an end to their father’s, and now mother’s, horrors.
So is the mother in the Vannie suit then?
