Final Fantasy VII Remake is easily one of the most anticipated games in years. Hell, it’s been anticipated FOR years. Square Enix is stoking that excitement with a demo, and the demo is… quite good!
I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve had skepticism about this remake, mostly because I’m not keen on the modern day Square Enix. However, this demo has definitely raised my expectations. Tight combat, great animations, and a good atmosphere. Looks absolutely gorgeous too.
And then there’s Jessie. Thirsty Jessie. I love Jessie.
Glad I’m not the only one that noticed Jessie, She’s practically Blanche from the Golden Girls
The legendary swordfight between two dudes to prove which one is mightier…

I like Jessie, she brings in the stereotypical trope of the thirsty girl that you gotta have in a good video game. In all seriousness, the demo was amazing, everything from the soundtrack to the visuals were really good.
I’ll only buy it if they exchange tifa with jessie <3

Thats a “it’s perfect 10/10” on other peoples scales and honestly kinda the best I was hoping for from this, now we just need to hope the rest of it’s good and they release it on PC in a state that isn’t awful and isn’t years later but still full price.

There is no actual ATB system, the “classic” mode’s literally just an auto battle. Anyone who said the ATB system was coming back either didn’t know the specifics, or was lying.
That includes Square Enix.
The iconic boss battle theme never played during the first boss fight in the original game.
