FIFA 19 Ultimate Team Pack Odds: Less Than 1% Chance Of Getting Rarest Players

Electronic Arts has had to disclose the odds of getting players in FIFA Ultimate Team packs, and the odds suck. While not even a full disclosure, EA’s revealed you have a less than 1% chance of obtaining the rarest players, the so-called Ones To Watch.

EA tries to compare FUT to Panini stickers, but Panini doesn’t do its customers like EA does its customers.

  1. Surprise surprise, have fun gambling

  2. I didnt even know that EA would go that far to exploit there playerbase.

  3. Man, this gacha game has some rough odds…

    Wait

  4. EA has a “less than 1%” chance of caring” until they get into trouble.

  5. Whales controlling the game industry feels like a nightmare scenario.

  6. *EA SPORTS*

    its in your wallet

  7. Fifa has always been Ea’s scummiest series. Its pretty much the same game every year.

  8. The Magnificent Mr McGee

Oh look EA doing something vicious and stupid again…

  9. Less than 1% chance I buy fifa 19.

  10. those kind of odds are common in mobile games, not very surprising, useally it’s 0.7 % or something like that.I can’t understand how so many players keep buying this shit.

  11. I probably have a bigger chance to win the lottery than win those worthless cards.

  12. These rates would make even Fate/Grand Order blush. Are we sure this isn’t a gacha mobile game?

  13. There's a starman waiting in the sky

This is why Mario Strikers Charged is the best football game.

  14. “CAPCOM” “generous”
    ……… HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
WTF kinda drugs are people on?!?

  15. True story: I was one of the testers on Kabam’s Transformers: Forged To Fight, and we had access to debug features like getting all the in-game currency we wanted, and I decided to check out how much “money” I’d waste on loot boxes before I got Megatron (iunno about now but back then he was a featured bot). I spent the equivalent of over 2000$ before I got Megatron. Loot boxes are a fraud.

  16. So EA not only put a gambling system in their game, but an extremely abusive, exploitative one at that. In other news, Telltale is getting sued and the sky is blue.

I’ve recently had the unfortunate opportunity to talk with an investor in EA shares, and the pure elitism and confidence dripping from their speech made me also want to puke. My favorite sentence from them was and I loosly quote: “EA won’t fail *lol* it’s actually getting bigger and more rich, because the Belgium case is already old news in the market and lawsuits don’t affect companies you uneducated consumerist sweaty :))))))” because it showed exactly to me what the type of people who support EA and keep it alive looks like. These people? They don’t give a shit if EA packed a literal cup of cum in a gym sock and put it inside the jewel case of the newest Need for Speed game because they are sure it’s “too big to fail”. We don’t need to force EA to be a better company, we need to make everyone investing in its shares lose every penny they put and realize supporting scummy activities comes with consequences.

  17. Basically no different than going to gamble at an unlicensed casino. If the house has nobody looking over their shoulder they don’t even have to pretend to be fair. You don’t know the odds, you don’t even know if it’s possible to win. EA could easily have a “bug” in the system so the rarest cards don’t drop at all for the first week. You would never know if they simply turned it off to boost sales. As long as some one got a card eventually.

The odds are so bad, that it isn’t even pay to win anymore.
