Really hope they change the submission mini game in UF 4. Also miss the ragedoll knockouts like undisputed

you can play ufc 4 on series x or ps5 and it won’t have another engine/gameplay
ufc 5 will be solely on next-gen consoles and probably have another engine

UPDATE: In an announcement after this video was recorded, EA Sports confirmed Ultimate Team IS NOT in this year due to the mode’s lack of popularity

Make striking more fluid! it was so frustrating when you couldn’t punch while moving back or punch while getting punched, like that stupid combo system where you can only punch before or after your opponent throws a combination. Improve ragdoling, i mean there are so many things to be fixed i hope at least half of them gets done.

Tha Waterman yeah the animations are trash but the actual striking mechanics and the fact that your health is so low makes it feel way more realistic

The striking is great with fast internet and playing offline multiplayer. All they really need to do is add a ton of animations that way every time you throw a strait for example it shows you a variation of a few different animations based off how much stamina and what your feet are doing. If your feet are planted it shows a few different ones.. moving backwards? a few more, moving forwards? a few more, Getting tired? A few more. The clinch and ground game are whats really clunky and acradish. Revamp those and add tons of animations and a better flow between sticking and clinch and ill be happy.
@Braylie G yh true the fighting isn’t realistic, but working on the animations alot for the fighting in general could become much better and it would be realistic
Fight night champion had a bare knuckle mode as a DLC it was great the fighters cut more easily. Absolute blood bath only problem was not all the fighters could be used in it.
I can see a little difference in the striking looks more like the old ufc undisputed games
